Time saving tip - make ginger garlic paste

I always have a jar of this in the fridge, it really does cut down the prep time when cooking a curry.

Simply blitz together equal amounts of peeled garlic and ginger, with a little water to make a paste.

It will store in a jar in the fridge for a few weeks, or if you don't cook Indian food that often freeze in an ice cube tray, then you will have small portions ready to use.

Note - please use an old ice cube tray and keep for just this purpose - trust me gin and tonic with a hint of garlic is not nice😉
